Returns & Exchanges

Shopping with KOBOMO is easy. We know that part of your shopping experience with us will sometimes involve returning an item. So we'd like to keep this simple. Here's a quick and easy guide to our 3 step returns process for both full-priced and clearance items.

Your purchase of any full-priced item can be returned for a refund OR exchange within 30 days of your parcel delivery.

STEP 1 - Requesting a return

All returns and exchanges can now be conveniently requested through your account online. Click on the link below to log in to your account using the same email you used for your purchase:

Here you will find your full order history and be able to select the item/s you wish to return.

Just follow the prompts to initiate your return request. Please include any additional information for exchanges in the notes with your request so we can hold the alternative size or style here while we wait for your return.

Our team understands that sometimes a garment isn’t quite what you expected, and we’re here to find the best solution—whether that’s an exchange, a different style recommendation, or a refund if that’s the way to go. Before posting your item/s back to us, please ensure you have received the Return Approval Email from our team. 

STEP 2 - Posting your return

Returning item/s must be in the same condition as when you received them - unworn, unwashed and with the original tags included.

No further paperwork is required, simply include your name on or in the parcel so we can identify your order when we receive the parcel.

STEP 3: Return Received!

Once we've received your return our team will swing into action and process your exchange or refund request promptly, typically by the next business day.

Exchanges will be confirmed with you by our team and we'll finalise any outstanding balances for additional items and postage or refunds due prior to sending a new parcel to you.

Refunds are issued for the full garment price originally paid and will be processed back to the same account by which you made the purchase. Original shipping costs are not refunded.

 

FAQs

Q: Can I return an item that was purchased on Clearance?

A: Clearance items that have been heavily discounted at the time of purchase (marked as 50% off or more) are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. Sale is final on all clearance items.

 

Q: How long will it take to process my return?

A: Returns are typically processed on the next business day after receiving your parcel. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take an additional 2-5 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank.

 

Q: Can I change my mind after placing a return request?

A: Absolutely. If you decide to keep your item after requesting a return, just let us know before shipping it back, and we’ll cancel your request. We will check all the details for your exchange prior to posting so you can add or change your mind at any time.

 

Q: Who covers the shipping cost for returns and exchanges?

A: Postage is always additional for each parcel we send out to you. As a business, we've opted not to increase the cost of our garments to hide the true cost of the postal service. We use Australia Post for all our parcels Australia-wide and these costs are always additional at a flat rate of $9.50 standard post or $14.50 for an express service.
