Contemporary Shift Dress - 50 Years Oriental - 30258

This limited release print celebrates Orientique Australia's 50th year designing for Australian women. Inspired by kintsugi, the Japanese technique of repairing broken pottery with gold seams, the accumulated years are what makes the result precious, reflecting the women who've worn their artworks across decades of their own lives.

The dress itself is a simple, relaxed A-line shift with a round neckline, elbow-length sleeves, skimming through the body to sit just on the knee. The design is deliberately uncomplicated allowing the print to carry the occasion. Easy to dress up for the moment this piece deserves, or wear on any day worth remembering.

What fabric is it?  Made from premium rayon, the fabric is soft, breathable and smooth to the touch, draping easily over the body. Ideal for hot climates.

Does it need a slip underneath? No - it has full coverage and can be worn on its own.

Is it true to size? Yes, the sizing is a standard Orientique fit. Measure your bust and follow the guidance in our size selection for your best fit.

Will it cover my knees? Yes, if you're around average height. Our model Savanah is particularly tall at 5'9 (177cm), so on her the hemline sits a little higher.

What size is the model wearing? Savanah has an 85cm bust, 72cm waist and 98cm hip and is wearing the size 10 production sample.

Can I machine wash it? Yes, a gentle cycle in cold water and a delicates bag is recommended for longevity.
