The Twist It Shift is bold, painterly print in a wonderfully wearable summer cotton frock.

Designed in a relaxed A-line silhouette, sleeveless with wide-cut shoulders and a rounded scoop neckline, the short button placket at the centre front opens with four small navy buttons - functional, not fussy.

From the bust it swings out freely, falling to the knee on most. Narrow vertical pintucks run the full length of the front and back bodice, shaping a neat fit on the bust and opening to a flowing roomy swing style around the hips and skirt.

Will it cover my knees if I'm average height? Savanah, our model, is very tall at 177cm (5'10") so if you're average height - under 165cm, expect the hem to cover the knee.

Is the artwork original? Yes. The French Restaurant print is an original artwork print created by the Orientique team and is a small production run in one season only. So these pieces quickly become collectible!

Will I need a slip? No. The organic cotton is lightweight but fully opaque, and the all-over print means there's no plain ground colour to worry about. Wear it as-is.

Can I iron it? You can (it's simply 100% cotton fabric), but you'd be ironing out the texture that gives this dress its character.
